How to display wi-fi passwords saved on your Android

First method:
With multiple Wi-Fi access points saved on your Android device and the time that passes, it becomes quite normal to forget one or more security keys of a certain network or networks. This article presents a small, but practical tip for those cases where you will need to recover a forgotten password.
On your smartphone as on most devices, when you connect to your wifi access point and you enter your security key, it must be stored in a file (sometimes in clear) somewhere on the system. So to recover it, you just have to locate and read the contents of this file.
Note: To successfully perform this operation your phone must be rooted (ie you must have administrator rights) since you will need to explore and access the files of the system, if it is not the case, do a little research.
Start by downloading and installing a file explorer, make sure it can be used as root, I recommend Astro File Manager. Then, just use it to read the file wpa-supplicant.conf that you will find in :  /data/misc/wifi
Open it with a text editor that also has the right root, the file wpa_supplicant.conf as can be seen in the image below contains a list of security keys in the clear of all WiFi networks saved in your Android .

second method:
Using the WiFi Pass Recovery & Backup application. This application lists alphabetically all the passwords of the wireless networks stored on your device, saves the list in a file in the memory card and restores it when you want it in one click!
Note: user permissions.
CHARACTERISTICS:
. LISTING, SAVING & RESTORING passwords for all networks stored in your device.
.Display the SSID and password on full screen (for easy viewing  and sharing with others)
.Copy password to clipboard (to paste anywhere)
.Display the QR Code (to be scanned by another device and access the network)
.Send by SMS (to share the password of the network by SMS).
.Send by Email (to share the network password by email)
.WARNING: This application does not enter unknown networks.
